- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆The worst service I have ever received. First off mn dmv in general is a joke. My soon to be husband had an issue with getting his licence back not because of anything other than no proof of insurance. They took his car so the 48 hours they give you to get the proof wasn't possible thus no car. Fast forward to this year we go to the dmv to take care of the fine they only do it via phone so we paid everything up got his licence back they send us on our way. He bought a truck in February 2017 and got insurance no issues. He moved to Wisconsin in April 2017. Went to change his residence....and well found out it wasn't okay...so we go to the dmv they tell us that they need proof of insurance and $30 fine along with passing a written test. So we go into this dmv and he takes the test waited for about 30 minutes. The lady was rude like really you sit at a desk you can at least be a little nice. He takes the test goes to pay and tells him it's not $30 anymore...its now $55. So he didn't have that cause he took $50 thinking it would be good enough. Anyways so she kicks him out of line he comes to me for more money and she makes him wait in line again. I can honestly say. I'm so glad I don't live in mn and that this is our last opportunity to work with them. This office is rude and not helpful at all. Wow. Unfortunately it's a government office so nothing will improve ever no matter the state. Just beware they won't actually know anything and come with more cash than you think cause they will find a way to get more money from you.By Priscilla Folz, April 12, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆I'm very surprised l had a pleasant experience here. The staff members are Very friendly and they are also bilingual (Spanish). There was a line but l was in and out in about 5 minutes.
